摘要 莫言的《红高粱》和《红高粱家族》自问世以來,在当代文学界影响巨大,后经过邓世午、于大波和葛浩文三位译者相继翻译成英文版出版发行,为莫言作品在海外的传播起到了巨大的推动作用。文章通过分析近年来研究《红高粱》系列作品翻译的成果,从译本概况、研究内容、误译研究三个方面对国内关于莫言《红高粱》系列小说的英译研究进行总结,并提出四点思考:(1)应重视由我国译者主译的《红高粱》首个英译本;(2)译者参照的底本值得考究;(3)误读误译应探究其根本原因;(4)研究质量有待提高,提倡方法、观点创新。 Mo Yan’s Red Sorghum and Red Sorghum Family have had a great influence in contemporary literary circles since being published. Deng Shiwu, Yu Dabo and Howard Goldblatt successively translated them into English for publication and distribution, they have played a great role in promoting the overseas dissemination of Mo Yan’s works. Based on the analysis of the results of research on the translation of the series of Red Sorghum in recent years, this paper summarizes the domestic research on the English translation of Mo Yan’s Red Sorghum series of novels from three aspects: the general situation of the translation, the research content and the mistranslation research, and puts forward four considerations:(1)Attention should be paid to the first English translation version of Red Sorghum mainly translated by Chinese translators;(2)The source text referred to by the translator is worth studying;(3)Misreading and mistranslation should explore its root causes;(4)The quality of research needs to be improved and innovations in methods and viewpoints should be advocated.
