Study on the Toughening Effect of the PBT by Different Toughening Agents

摘要 研究了乙烯-辛烯共聚物(POE)、丙烯酸酯高胶粉KM355P、环氧基团接枝POE (POG-2)和乙烯-丙烯酸丁酯-甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯(PTW)四种增韧剂对聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)和无卤阻燃增强PBT性能的影响,同时对增韧效果和增韧剂结构进行了对比分析。结果表明,四种增韧剂中PTW和POG-2的增韧效果最好,KM355P次之,POE最差。扫描电镜(SEM)和产品结构分析表明增韧剂需要与PBT基体具有良好的相容性和强的相界面结合,才有利于诱发银纹和基体剪切屈服,有效提高PBT的韧性。POG-2和PTW对无卤阻燃增强PBT产品都具有良好的增韧效果,但是POG-2对产品的MFR影响较小。 The toughening agents of ethylene-octene copolymer( POE), acrylate rubber powder KM355 P,epoxy group grafted POE( POG-2) and the ethylene-butyl acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate( PTW)were applied to the toughening of the poly( butylene terephthalare)( PBT) and the reinforced and non-halogen flame-retarded PBT,and the toughening efficiency and the structure of the toughening agents were analyzed.The results show that the POG-2 and the PTW show excellent toughening effects, and followed by the KM355 P,while the POE is the worst for the PBT toughening. Scanning electron microscopy( SEM) and the structure of toughening agents analysis indicate that the good compatibility and strong interface bonding between the toughening agent and PBT matrix are necessary,which could induce the silver streaks and the shear yield bands of the matrix,and could effectively improve the toughness of the PBT. The toughening agents of the PTW and the POG-2 also have good toughening effects on the non-halogen flame retardant reinforced PBT products. However,the toughening agents of the POG-2 have less negative impacts on the melt flow index of the PBT products than the PTW.
