摘要
为了提升光纤阵列与平面光波导芯片耦合时的耦合效率和稳定性,基于光场模式匹配理论,分析光纤阵列耦合特性,理论推导出耦合效率与耦合装置各参数之间的关系。改进传统耦合光场匹配模型,加入端面斜8°对准理论,提出一种针对平面光波导光分路器耦合装置的优化方案。对径向错位、端面分离和角度失配进行了理论计算,为V型槽及芯片固定结构提供了优化的技术参数。利用ZEMAX软件仿真表明:最终优化耦合结构的耦合效率达93%。
In order to improve the coupling efficiency and stability of the coupling between the fiber array and the planar lightwave circuit chip, based on the light field pattern matching theory, the coupling characteristics of the fiber array were analyzed and the relationships between the coupling efficiency and the parameters of the coupling device were derived theoretically. An optimal scheme of the coupling device of planar lightwave circuit optical splitter was proposed by improving the traditional matching model of coupled optical field and adding the 8° inclined alignment theory of the end face. Theoretical calculations for radial misalignment, end face separation and angular mismatch were provided, which provide optimized technical parameters for V-groove and chip fixed structure. ZEMAX software simulations show that the coupling efficiency of the optimized coupling structure reaches 93%.
