摘要
为探讨纳米η-Al2O3的烧结行为,以纳米η-Al2O3为原料,聚乙烯醇为结合剂,经造粒、烧结制备刚玉试样。研究了不同烧结温度(1 550、1 600、1 650和1 700 ℃)和不同保温时间(0.5、1、1.5、2、4和6 h)对试样性能和显微结构的影响,并计算了烧结激活能。结果表明:纳米η-Al2O3在1 650 ℃保温6 h烧结,得到了体积密度为 3.74 g·cm^-3 、显气孔率为1.77%的致密烧结刚玉;纳米η-Al2O3在1 550~1 650 ℃的烧结激活能为278.01 kJ·mol^-1 ,而较低的烧结激活能有利于烧结进行;低温烧结制备的刚玉中没有晶体异常长大现象,晶粒之间结合紧密,以穿晶断裂为主,晶间气孔少,晶粒尺寸在3.5~7.5 μm。
In order to investigate the sintering behavior of nano-η-Al2O3,corundum specimens were prepared by granulation and sintering with nano-η-Al2O3 as the starting material and polyvinyl alcohol as the binder.The effects of the sintering temperature (1 550,1 600,1 650 and 1 700 ℃) and holding time (0.5,1,1.5,2,4 and 6 h) on the properties and microstructure of the specimens were studied,and the activation energy of sintering was calculated.The results show that dense sintered corundum with bulk density of 3.74 g·cm^-3 and apparent porosity of 1.77% is obtained by calcinating at 1 650 ℃ for 6 h;the sintering activation energy of nano-η-Al2O3 at 1 550-1 650 ℃ is 278.01 kJ·mol ^-1;low activation energy is beneficial to sintering;the corundum sintered at low temperatures has no abnormal growing crystals,and the crystal grains bond tightly,mainly in transgranular fracture,with fewer intergranular pores,and the grain size is between 3.5 and 7.5 μm.
