摘要
采用微胶囊红磷(MRP)协效碱式硫酸镁晶须(MOS)制备阻燃聚丙烯(PP)复合材料,研究了MOS/MRP添加量对PP复合材料阻燃性能的影响并探究了其阻燃机理。研究发现,当保持MOS/MRP总添加量为40phr时,随着MRP添加量的增加,PP复合材料阻燃性能提高;当MRP添加量为10phr时阻燃性能最好,极限氧指数(LOI)达到25.9%,垂直燃烧等级为UL94V-0级。当MRP与MOS复配使用时,燃烧过程中相互作用,生成了致密、光滑且密封性好的残炭层,阻碍了表层内能量的传导和与外界物质的交换,提高了复合材料的热稳定性,从而产生了较好的阻燃效果。
Microencapsulated red phosphorus(MRP)was used to synergistically prepare the flame retardant polypropylene(PP)composites with a basic magnesium sulfate whisker(MOS)and the effects of the addition of MOS/MRP on the flame retardant properties of PP composites were studied and the flame retardant mechanism was explored.The research shows when the addition of MOS/MRP is fixed as 40 phr,the flame retardancy of PP composites increases with the increase of MRP contents.When the addition of MRP is 10 phr,the flame retardancy of PP composites is the best,then the limiting oxygen index( LOI )is 25.9%and the vertical combustion grade UL94 is V-0.When MRP and MOS are used together,a compact,smooth and sealed carbon residue layer is formed during combustion,which hinders the energy transmission in the surface layer and the exchange of external materials thus improves the thermal stability of the composites,resulting in a good flame retardant effect.
