摘要
金属硫蛋白是一类存在于生物中低分子量,富含半胱氨酸、不含芳香氨基酸的金属结合蛋白质。对金属硫蛋白的结构、4种类型,以及其重金属解毒、清除自由基、氧化应激等功能和开发利用进行了简要概述,对金属硫蛋白在各种疾病方面的研究进行介绍,同时对金属硫蛋白的开发利用进行了展望。
Metalllothionein is a kind of metal-bound protein with low molecular weight,rich in cysteine and no aromatic amino acids. In this paper,the structure,four types of metallothionein,its functions of heavy metal detoxification,free radical scavenging,oxidative stress and its development and utilization were briefly reviewed. The research of metallothionein in various diseases was emphatically introduced. Finally,the developmen and utilization of metallothionein were prospected.
