With the change of society and the construction of lifelong learning system. The value of workplace learning is becoming more and more obvious. As one of the types of learning, expansive learning emphasizes the attention to the learning process.Focusing on the case analysis of traditional craftsmen in Great Country Craftsmen,it is found that their expansive learning process is a process in which the subject crosses the recent development area, crosses the boundary in adapting to change, periodic evolution is realized in the process of expanding the object, and pursues innovation on the basis of inheriting tradition.Based on this, some suggestions are put forward, such as strengthening the learning content pointing to the future development, making clear the learning motivation to balance the relationship between tradition and innovation, and constructing a multi-interactive learning style in order to enhance the traditional handicraft artisan’s contemporary practice level and transmission ability.
