摘要
信息时代正以磅礴的劲头迅猛发展,新时代对教育输出的劳动力提出了更高的要求,竞争能力薄弱或单一的劳动力正面临被时代“抛弃”的困境,而具有高度综合性跨学科式的STEM教育将为新型劳动力的培养提供有效的解决途径。2018年12月美国白宫发布《STEM教育—北极星计划》文件,隐含着“推陈出新”的意义,《STEM教育—北极星计划》着重阐述了美国将STEM教育融合“计算思维”作为新时代公民素养的形式推广,并通过政府立法的方式推出了适应当代发展的战略决策。通过加强社会各界教育力量的相互衔接、提升学科包容性以及制定透明的问责制度和推广计算能力的培养,为STEM教育体系的发展开阔空间。相比之下,我国STEM教育由于起步较晚,该领域处于“百业待兴”的状态。通过借鉴《STEM教育—北极星计划》解决问题的经验,结合我国STEM教育的现状,对我国推行STEM教育做出如下建议:开发课程融合,促进课程本土化;协调多方合作,丰富教学资源;加强监管体制,营建教育环境;普及素养意识,发展教育据点。
Education should produce and provide highly qualified labor force to meet the requirements in the new era.STEM,a comprehensive cross-disciplinary education plan will contribute to the approach to training the new labor force.In December 2018,the White House released the "STEM Education Strategic Plan",which implies "Bringing Forth the New through the Old".The plan sets forth that the government of the United States calls urgently the citizens to fuse STEM education with "computational thinking", and puts forward the strategic decision to respond to the contemporary development by government legislation. This plan opens up space for the development of STEM education systems by strengthening the interconnection of educational forces from all sectors of society,promoting subject inclusion, developing transparent accountability systems and promoting the cultivation of computational ability.In contrast,China's STEM education is in its infancy. This paper aims to make the following suggestions on the implementation of STEM education in China by referring to the experience of problems solving in America's "STEM Education-North Star Strategic Plan":developing curriculum integration and promoting curriculum localization;coordinating multi-party cooperation to enrich teaching resources;strengthening the supervision system and building the educational environment;popularizing literacy awareness and developing educational strongholds.
