摘要
提出了一种基于颜色和投影技术的车牌定位及字符分割方法,首先将车辆图像转换到HSV颜色空间,利用车牌区域的颜色特征进行车牌区域定位,然后利用randon变换对车牌图像进行倾斜校正,最后利用垂直投影法结合字符宽度完成字符分割,为下一步进行字符识别奠定基础。
A license plate location and character segmentation method based on color and projection technology was proposed. Firstly, the vehicle image was converted into HSV color space, and the license plate area was located by using the color features of the license plate area. Then, the license plate image was tilted by random transform. Finally, Vertical Projection Combined with Character Width was used to completed character segmentation;this laid the foundation for character recognition in the next step.
