摘要
本文报道了利用连续激光在非线性介质中发生自作用情况下,远场光斑中心光强与样品介介空间位置的关系曲线测定非线性折射率的新方法。用此法测量了茉莉花茶酒精溶液这一新的非线性介质n_2值,给出了n_2=-(1.5±0.3)×10^(-5)esu.,比CS_2的相应值大10~6倍。
A simple and highly sensitive technique for determining nonlinear refractive index n2 by CW He-Ne laser beam self-action has been developed. The magnitude and sign of a new nonlinear medium, solution of jasmine tea in ethyl alcohol have been measured, the magnitude of which is 106 times larger than that of Carbondisulfide.
