摘要
当前农村婚姻成本高低与当地婚恋模式之间存在深刻的内在关联机制。既有人口结构论、社会结构论和婚姻市场论难以对当前“天价彩礼”这一问题背后的经验张力做出有效解释。基于中西部川、豫两地农村婚恋实践的调研表明:以四川农村为典型代表的“子女主导的自由恋爱婚恋模式”与“低额彩礼”具有高度亲和性,以河南农村为典型代表的“父母主导的相亲介绍婚恋模式”与“高额彩礼”密切相关,“代际责任”这一本体性价值成为影响婚姻成本高低的重要起点。代际责任感弱,父母介入有限,自由恋爱普遍,婚姻成本较低;代际责任感强,父母深度介入,相亲介绍成为主流,家庭条件、尤其是经济因素成为婚姻竞争的重要筛选机制,天价彩礼成为必然产物。如欲有效治理这一社会不良风气,关键在于:尊重并保障适婚青年男女的“婚姻自主权”,积极引导婚恋当事人树立以情感为导向的现代社会主义婚恋观。
There is a deep internal correlation between the marriage costs and marriage and love model.The theories of demographic structure,social structure and marriage market seems hard to provide a fully reasonable explanation of the increasingly high costs of betrothal gifts with empirical tension.The survey of rural marriages in the rural mid-western Sichuan and the rural area of Henan provinces show that the free love marriage model dominated by the children correlates with the low costs of betrothal gifts typically found in Sichuan,while the introduced blind dating model dominated by parents correlates to the high costs of betrothal gifts typically found in the rural area of Henan province.The ontological value of intergenerational responsibility lay behind the two different marriage models in the rural area,the weaker the intergenerational responsibility is,the less involvement of parents in marriages of free love and lower costs,while the stronger the intergenerational responsibility is,the more involvement of parents in the marriages and the more introduced dating marriage,finally cause higher costs of betrothal gifts because that family conditions,especially economic factors,become more important screening mechanism for marriage competition under this model.This finding imply that respecting and guaranteeing the marriage autonomy of the marriageable young men and women is the key for the solution of the increasingly higher costs of betrothal gifts in the rural.
