摘要
简要介绍了修辞格发展的历史及内涵,比较了中英修辞格的异同,其不同之处主要是由于历史文化、社会活动和风俗习惯等的不同造成的。以纳西族英雄史诗《黑白之战》英译为例,基于对隐喻、明喻、夸张、拟人、等几种修辞格在汉英两种语言的对比,详细分析了以上修辞格的翻译方法和技巧,探讨少数民族诗歌中常见修辞格的翻译方法和翻译技巧,有助于修辞格的英译。
This paper briefly introduces the history and connotation of the development of figures of speech,and compares the similarities and differences between Chinese and English figures of speech,which are mainly caused by the differences in history,culture,social activities and customs.Taking the English translation of the heroic epic of the Naxi nationality,the Wars between Black Kingdom and White Kingdom,as an example,based on the comparison of metaphor,exaggeration,personification and other figures of speech in Chinese and English,this paper analyzes in detail the translation methods and techniques of the above figures of speech.It is helpful to the English translation of figures of speech to probe into the translation methods and skills of figures of speech commonly used in minority poetry.
