Objective To analyze and compare the effect of synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy and sequential chemo-radiotherapy in the treatment of stage Ⅲ non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods Ninety patients with stage Ⅲ unsurgical NSCLC were selected and randomly divided into two groups, each group 45 cases. The synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy group was treated with synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and the sequential radiotherapy group was treated with sequential chemo-radiotherapy.KPS scores,short-term efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in Karnofsky(KPS)scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,KPS scores of the two groups were significantly increased compared with that of the group before treatment, and the concurrent chemoradiotherapy group was significantly higher than that of the sequential radiotherapy group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of concurrent chemoradiotherapy group was significantly higher than that of sequential radiotherapy group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the concurrent chemoradiotherapy group was significantly lower than that in the sequential radiotherapy group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with sequential chemo-radiotherapy treatment, synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy therapy effect is more ideal for stage Ⅲ unsurgical NSCLC patients.
