摘要
结果属性的解释和描写一直存在争议。学者们或将其视为纯粹的词汇现象,或强调关系过程的语法框架,或将其归因于"动结式"的认知框架,但均缺乏系统性。本文将结果属性视为及物性系统中过程融合的结果,并在此基础上建构其系统。结果属性是关系过程与其他过程融合的结果,过程的融合同时受到经验语法的识解限制,该限制具体表现为与关系过程融合的其他过程的语义限制。结果属性系统由"明确"和"不明确"两个子系统组成,后者将直接体现为不明确类结果属性,而前者基于经验识解关系的区别可由"及物"和"作格"两个子系统描写,二者又进一步受到不同过程类型的语义构型限制。
The Resultative Attribute has always been open to description and interpretation. It is treated as lexical resources, or part of the grammatical framework of relational processes, or that of the cognitive framework of Resultative Construction. These views each show some weaknesses in terms of systematic soundness. This paper argues that the Resultative Attribute results from the fusion of different process types within the Transitivity system and attempts to build the Resultative Attribute system. The fusion of relational processes and other process types results in the Resultative Attributes and the fusion itself is constrained by the way in which grammar construes experience. This constraint manifests itself as the semantic constraint of the process type under fusion with the relational process. Seen in this way, the system of Resultative Attributes consists of two subsystems, i.e.,"being clear"and"being unclear". The latter can be directly realized as"unclear Resultative Attributes", while the former can be entered by the two subsystems of"transitive"and"ergative", which are further constrained by different semantic configurations of process types.
