Objective To explore the effect of non-operative spinal decompression system(SDS)on the emg signal of the paravertebral muscles in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods From January 2018 to March 2019,a total of 60 cases diagnosed as LDH were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the order of visit,30 cases in each group. The control group was received the ordinary traction, and the treatment group was received SDS treatment. After the single-time treatment, the integrated electromyography(IEMG)and the root mean square(RMS)of the erector spine muscle and multifidus muscle in affected side were quantitatively evaluated and compared statistically in two groups after treatment. Results After the the single-time treatment, the AEMG and the RMS of the erector spine muscle and multifidus muscle in affected side of the two groups were significantly higher than those pre-treatment(P<0.05).The AEMG and the RMS of the erector spine muscle and multifidus muscle in affected side were significantly lower in the treatment group compared with the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Single SDS treatment can effectively reduce the paravertebral emg signal, and relieve paravertebral muscle tension.
