Higher vocational education has provided a large number of professional talents for China’s economic and social development. In response to the Belt and Road initiative, China’s higher vocational colleges have actively carried out cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road" and achieved certain results. At present, there are 21 higher vocational colleges in Sichuan Province developing close cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road. These international partners are mainly distributed in Asia, mainly private colleges, supplemented by public colleges, and cooperation forms include "one-to-one", "one-to-many", and "many-toone". Internationalization cooperation of higher vocational colleges is faced with some obstacles such as narrow international vision, single cooperation content and poor language communication in the process of internationalization of higher vocational education. Therefore, China’s higher vocational colleges should deepen the concept of internationalized education, the concept of running a school and the concept of management, and actively develop professional advantages, through building the Belt and Road vocational education alliance, carrying out multilingual teaching, docking with international professional standards, and improving the incentive mechanism and funding mechanism, the international development of higher vocational education can be promoted.
