摘要
《上海科技翻译》于2003年开展的"翻译理论与实践关系的讨论"作为我国译学史上的一个"事件",曾引起了很大的反响。鉴于翻译理论与实践的关系是一个老生常谈且能够不断深化的话题,我认为在时隔17年后再次组织有关主题的讨论,相信更有助于提高"真理性认识",深化译学的研究。本文在回顾的基础上进行了反思,认为不同类型翻译理论的功用是不同的,而人的角色化对于翻译理论和实践关系的认识也是有影响的。
As an "Event" in China’s translation history,the"Debate on Translation Theory and Practice"launched by Shanghai Journal of Translators For Science and Technology( Shanghai Journal of Translators today) in 2003,caused a big stir in the translation circles. Since the relationship between translation theory and practice is a perennial topic,the initiator of the 2003 event is launching a new discussion on the same topic after 17 years with a view to deepening the translation researches in the new era in China. This article,based on the author’s retrospect,holds the view that different sorts of theories have different functions and that a person’s roleshifting influences his views towards the relationship between the translation theory and practice.
