摘要
瞬时感受器电位离子通道香草素受体4(TRPV4),也称香草素受体相关的渗透激活通道(VR-OAC)、OTRPC4、TRP12或VRL-2,最初被描述为Ca2+可渗透性的非选择性阳离子通道。TRPV4是在中枢神经系统(CNS)和外周的细胞中广泛表达的受体。TRPV4的重要性在于其在许多重要的生理活动发挥着至关重要的作用,缺失或功能异常与各种疾病有关。TRPV4参与维持体内平衡,作为一个渗透压感受器和温度感受器,在各种病理条件下会发生上调。本文主要综述了这个离子通道的已知特性,主要包括其结构、表达及其在维持CNS的体内平衡和疾病中的重要作用,尤其是在缺血、癫痫和神经源性炎症中的作用。
Transient receptor potential vanilloid 4(TRPV4),also known as vanilloid receptor related osmotically activated channel(VR-OAC),OTRPC4,TRP12,or VRL-2,was originally described as a calcium-permeable nonselective cation channel.It is a receptor with a wide expression in cells of the central nervous system(CNS) and the periphery.The importance of TRPV4 is that it plays a vital role in a great number of important physiological activities and processes,and its absence or abnormal functioning are related to various kinds of diseases.TRPV4 is involved in maintaining homeostasis,serves as an osmosensor and thermosensor.And its upregulation can be seen in a variety of pathological conditions.Here,we review the known features of this ion channel in reference to its structure,expression and its functional important role in maintaining homeostasis and pathological diseases in CNS,especially inischemia,epilepsy and neurogenic inflammation.
