This essay aims to discuss Taiwan Residents female writers Miss Chen Ye and Chen Yuhui’s novels of their family histories. It claims the writers who write novels with traumatic memories from their original families in the position of post-228 generations with a“healing”retrospect point of view.Because of the background of 228 event elaborated in the novels,it assumes that Muddy River and Mazu’s Bodyguards are not only the writers’semi-autobiographies but also the stories of all Taiwan Residents people.According to the discourses“Transmission of Holocaust Trauma”by Mr.Kellermann,a psychologist in Israel, history trauma would go through a traumatized social process and pass to children over generations consciously or unconsciously.Reflecting on the novels we assert that Miss Chen Ye and Chen Yuhui, they inevitably inherit the history trauma from their parents and then project onto the“daughter”roles in the novels. They attempt to open conversation space between history event and family trauma,as well to“anti-transmit”a goodwill to both individual and collective conciliations.
