Objective To understand the peripheral blood picture of painters in automobile maintenance industry and its influencing factors, provide scientific basis for preventing painters from occupational diseases. Methods From October to December in 2018,212 painters as the observation group and 129 logistics managers as the contrast group were selected from43 automobile maintenance enterprises in the urban area of Dazhou City, and the abnormal rate of peripheral blood picture and its influencing factors in the two groups were analyzed. Results The abnormal rates of white blood cell count(WBC),red blood cell count(RBC),platelet count(PLT) and neutrophil count(NEUT) in observation group was respectively 6.60%,8.49%,8.96% and 5.66%,which were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05). The abnormal rate of hemoglobin content(HGB) was 7.08%,and there was no statisticallysignificant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the main risk factors for abnormal peripheral blood picture of painters were women, increased working age and no protective equipment. Conclusion The abnormal peripheral blood picture of painters in automobile maintenance industry in urban area of Dazhou City is not optimistic. It is necessary to effectively control the risk factors of abnormal peripheral blood picture to ensure the health of painters in automobile maintenance industry.
