Objective To investigate the effect of haze granules on airway inflammation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). Methods 84 COPD patients diagnosed as stable stage by CAAC General Hospital from July to December 2018 were selected as the subjects of study. According to the area where the patients lived, they were divided into urban group(n=43) and suburban group(n=41).The average concentration of PM2.5 in urban area and suburban area was compared, and the inflammatory reaction and cytological test results of subjects in urban and suburban groups were analyzed. Results From July 2018 to December2018,the average concentration of PM2.5 in urban area was significantly higher than that in suburban area(P<0.05). The levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-8(IL-8) and malondialdehyde(MDA) in urban area were higher than those in suburban area, the level of transforming growth factor-beta1(TGF-β1) in urban area was lower than that in suburban area(all P<0.05).The results of macrophage and neutrophil test in urban group were significantly higher than those in suburban area(P<0.05). Conclusion Haze granules can aggravate airway inflammation in patients with COPD and endanger the health of the body.In clinical treatment,it is necessary to vigilant haze granules.
