摘要 整本书阅读是一种促进学生知识增长和发展学生思维能力的重要手段。然而,很多学生在阅读时“轻过程重结果”,有的学生“学而不思”,这样的阅读模式难以令人满意。解决这类问题的一种简便、有效的方法是实施整本书阅读后的辩论训练。本文详细介绍这种辩论训练的操作方法,并针对学生的阅读辩论训练过程与质量研发形成性评价量表,为广大师生开展阅读活动提供新的思路和实用的评价工具。 Reading is one of the most important ways of acquiring knowledge and developing thinking skills.The effectiveness of reading,however,may be diminished by the current trend of paying less attention to the process of reading and seeking quick grasp of main conclusions.It is an attempt to somehow instantly achieve the benefits of reading without critical thinking.An initial study indicates that one of the simplest yet effective ways to counter these trends is to run a reading-based debating program.This paper introduces such a program in great details.A rating scale for debate quality evaluation is also provided.The design of the reading-based debating program,as well as the debate rating scale,can benefit both teachersand studentsin making good use of their reading programs.
