摘要
中国英语学习者的学术英语写作文本缺乏学术英语的语体特征,名词化产出能力不足是其主要原因。因此,改进名词化教学是亟待解决的问题。本研究基于"产出导向法"(Production-oriented Approach,简称POA),在90名非英语专业学生的学术英语写作教学中开展了一学期的教学研究,收集了学生的学习日志、访谈和产出文本,采集了4名同行教师的课堂观察和访谈数据。数据之间的三角验证表明"产出导向法"能有效促进名词化教学,提高学生在学术英语写作中名词化产出的数量和质量。
It is noticeable that the academic papers written by Chinese English learners lack academic features largely because of learners’ poor capability of producing nominalization. Therefore, the improvement of instruction of nominalization in an academic English writing course is badly needed. This study conducted onesemester teaching research of nominalization among 90 Chinese non-English majors with the Production-oriented Approach(POA). By triangulating the data of students’ interviews, learning journals and written output, and the data of 4 teachers’ class observation and interview, this study found that POA worked well in the teaching of nominalization, contributing to the improvement of the quantity and quality of nominalization in academic writing.
