Objective To investigate the infection of human papillomavirus(HPV)in male patients with venereal disease and urology clinic in our hospital and its genotype distribution. Methods Using PCR in vitro amplification combined with DNA reverse hybridization,23 genotypes were detected by HPV genotyping. Results Among the 3865 male patients,2019 patients were infected with HPV,and the infection rate was 52.24%.Among them, there were 1124 cases of single subtype infection, accounting for 29.08%;there were 485 cases of double subtype infection, accounting for 12.55%;there were 223 cases of triple subtype infection, accounting for 5.77%;124 cases of quadruple subtype infection accounted for 3.21%;the number of patients with five or more infections was 63,accounting for 1.63%.The differences in HPV infection among different age groups are statistically significant(χ2=35.902,P<0.01).The top two low-risk subtypes are HPV6 and HPV11,each accounting for 35.71%and 25.41%;the top two high-risk subtypes were HPV52 and HPV16,accounting for 13.62%and 10.45%.Conclusion The infection rate of male anal genital HPV in Hangzhou is high, and people of all ages are prone to infection. The infection situation is dominated by a single subtype infection. The infection subtypes are low-risk HPV6 and HPV11,and HPV52 and HPV16 are the dominant high-risk types.
