摘要
气体扩散层(GDL)是质子交换膜燃料电池(PEMFC)的重要组成材料之一,其稳定性对PEMFC的性能和耐久性具有重要影响。以商业化的软碳纸(S-GDL)和硬碳纸(H-GDL)制备的气体扩散层为研究对象,对其进行高电位氧化和酸液浸泡加速衰减实验。对衰减前后GDL的透气系数、接触角、厚度、电阻及全电池极化曲线进行表征,揭示了离线加速衰减过程中不同GDL的衰减行为,并研究了GDL参数变化对燃料电池性能的影响。该研究结果可为燃料电池耐久性研发提供参考。
Gas diffusion layer(GDL),as one of the irreplaceable parts of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs),plays an important role in performance and durability of fuel cells.In this work,commercial soft carbon paper-based GDL(S-GDL)and hard carbon paper-based GDL(H-GDL)were subjected to high-potential oxidation and acid immersion accelerated stress tests(AST).The gas permeability coefficient,contact angle,thickness,resistance of the GDLs and the full-cell polarization curves before and after AST tests were characterized in details.The degrading behaviors of the GDLs during ex-situ accelerated stress tests were revealed.In addition,the effects of the degrading behaviors on performance of fuel cells were studied.The results of this study provide a reference for the research and development of PEMFC’s durability.
