摘要
语言是动态发展的,一些在过去认为错误的搭配,可能经过大众的广泛“错用”而延伸出新的用法,从而成为流行用语。高量程度贬义形容词的褒义使用已经为受众所普遍接受并成为一种流行趋势。将定量和定性相结合,以“严重”为例,分析其演变过程及它与“同意”等词语搭配所产生的语用效果,探讨这类词异化使用的成因和语用效果,以期对高量程度贬义形容词褒义使用这一现象做出合理解释。
Language is a dynamic development.Some collocations that seemed wrong in the past may extend into new usages through widespread“misusage”by the public,thus becoming popular terms.The positive use of highly negative adjectives has been widely accepted and become a popular trend.Through qualitative and quantitative analysis,this paper takes“yanzhong(严重)”as an example to analyze its evolution process and the pragmatic effect produced by the collocation of“tongyi(同意)”and other words,and probes into the causes and pragmatic effects of the alienated use of such words,so as to make a reasonable explanation and response to the phenomenon of the use of highly negative adjectives with positive meanings.
