摘要
习近平总书记在为全国涉农高校的书记校长和专家的回信中,指明了新时代涉农高校的前进方向。他强调,中国现代化离不开农业农村现代化,农业农村现代化关键在科技和人才,新时代涉农高校承担着为祖国的现代化建设培育合格农业人才的重要使命。习近平总书记要求涉农高校要确保国家的粮食安全、提高亿万农民的生活水平、促进山水林田湖草系统治理、打赢脱贫攻坚战、推进乡村全面振兴,从物质基础、生活保障、思想指南、生态指向、目标指引、科技创新和人才保障等方面做出了重要部署,为新时代我国涉农高校明确了发展指南。
General Secretary Xi Jinping’s reply to the secretary and expert of the national agriculture-related colleges and universities indicates where the agriculture-related universities are heading.He emphasizes China’s modernization is inseparable from agricultural and rural modernization,and the key of which lies in talents and technology,at the same time,he defined that agriculture-related colleges are responsible for the important admissions of fostering qualified agricultural talents in the new era.General Secretary Xi also demands that agriculture-related colleges should insure the food security;improve the living standards of hundreds of millions of farmers;accelerate the system management of mountains,rivers,forest,farmlands,lake and grass;win the battle against poverty;promote the overall revitalization of rural areas,and he has also made important arrangements from the aspects of material foundation,life security,ideological guide,ecological orientation,target guidance,technological innovation and talent protection,so as to indicate the direction of agriculture-related colleges and universities.
