Objective To investigate the anxiety and depression emotions of patients with sudden deafness and study the correlation between current status and coping styles. Methods We selected randomly 90 cases of patients with sudden deafness admitted in our hospital from January 2017 to October 2019 as a study group, and 90 cases of healthy patients were selected as a control group. The anxiety scale(SAS)and depression scale(SDS)were used to evaluate patients'anxiety and depression, and the coping style scale was used to evaluate patients'coping style.Pearson analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the three. Results The SAS score,SDS score and negative coping score in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The positive coping score in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Pearson analysis showed that the SAS score and SDS score of the study group were positively correlated with positive coping styles(P<0.05),but negatively correlated with negative coping styles(P<0.05).Conclusion The patients with sudden deafness often have different levels of anxiety and depression, and have a close relationship with their own coping styles. It was necessary to strengthen the counseling of patients'bad psychological emotions, establish positive coping styles, and promote disease recovery.
