摘要
五四新文化运动是近代以来中国向西方学习的必然结果,是民国初年文化觉悟的必然产物。五四新文化运动所要致力解决的问题,是如何通过吸收西方文化,实现中国文化的创造性转化和创新性发展,其最终的目的是要重建中国文化,并通过重建中国文化,改造中国社会。五四新文化运动宣传了新价值观、传播了马克思主义、普及了新文学,从而改变了中国文化的基本格局,推动了中国文化的创造性转化和创新性发展。
The May 4th New Culture Movement had been the inevitable result of China’s learning from the West since the modern times,and also the inevitable result of cultural awareness in the early years of the Republic of China.The problem that the May 4th New Culture Movement aims to tackle is about how to transform and develop the Chinese culture in a new fashion by drawing on the Western culture;the ultimate goal is to reconstruct the Chinese culture and thus rebuild the Chinese society.The May 4th New Culture Movement publicized new values,spread Marxism and popularized new literature,thus changing the basic pattern of the Chinese culture and promoting the creative transformation and development of the Chinese culture.
