Objective To investigate the clinical effect of laparoscopic internal ring repair in the treatment of children with indirect inguinal hernia. Methods A total of 95 children with indirect inguinal hernia who were admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to October 2019 were selected as research subjects, and they were divided into control group(n=45)and observation group(n=50)according to random number table method. The control group underwent conventional external inguinal ring high ligation of hernia sac,and observation group was treated with laparoscopic internal ring repair. The operation time, hospital stays and the incidence of hematoma of scrotum were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and hospital stays in observation group were shorter than those in control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05).The incidence of hematoma of scrotum in observation group was lower than that in control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic internal ring repair in treatment of children with indirect inguinal hernia has significant effect,it can shorten operation time and hospital stays, decrease the incidence of postoperative hematoma of scrotum, and benefit the children.
