摘要
[目的/意义]目前影响因子等引文相关数据为基础的期刊评价指标虽广泛应用,但也在学界饱受争论。该研究基于生态位视角,提出全新的期刊评价思路。[方法/过程]引入生态位理论,探讨在学术交流生态系统中各期刊对赖以生存的作者资源的竞争状况,利用期刊生态位宽度和生态位重叠度进行计算,分析了与"影响因子"等切入视角不同的评价期刊新指标,并对相关指标的有效性问题进行讨论。[结果/结论]分析表明,期刊生态位宽度和生态位重叠度指标可以与期刊影响因子等指标相辅相成,能够对期刊评价指标体系相关研究作有效补充,可用作国内期刊评价的新尝试。
[Purpose/Significance]Indexes of journal evaluation based on citation-related data such as impact factors are widely used,however,they are also controversial in academic circles.A new method for journal evaluation based on the niche is put forward.[Method/Process]This article introduces the niche theory,explores the competition in the academic exchange ecosystem for author resources that are super important for each journal,uses the niche breadth and niche overlap of the journal to calculate and analyze the new index for evaluating journals,which is different from the perspective of impact factors such as"influence factor",and discusses the validity of related indexes.[Result/Conclusion]The analysis shows that niche breadth and niche overlap of the journal can complement the indexes such as the impact factor of the journal,thus effectively supplement the related research of the journal evaluation index system and can be used as a new attempt for the evaluation of domestic journals.
