The construction of the general and branch libraries of public libraries not only improves the working efficiency and service efficiency,but also promotes public welfare and equality of service,as well as the important measures to realize the standardization,full coverage and resource sharing of public cultural services.Through the analysis of the significance of the construction of the general branch of the public library,the characteristics of the construction mode of the general branch of the public library,and the detailed elaboration of the construction and development strategies of the general branch of the public library,this paper provides a valuable reference for further development and improvement of the construction of the general branch of the public library,precise implementation of policies,reasonable layout,scientific establishment and comprehensive coverage.
