Objective To observe the clinical effect of ultrasonic atomization combined with olopatadine for treating allergic conjunctivitis in children. Methods All 106 cases(212 eyes)of children with allergic conjunctivitis who were treated in Beijing Jingdu Children’s Hospital from March 2017 to December 2019,were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups matching gender and qge.The observation group(56 cases)were treated with ultrasonic atomization combined with olopatadine eye drops in a week, and the control group(50 cases)were treated with olopatadine and fluoromethane eye drops at the same period. The scores of symptoms and signs of the two groups were recorded before and after treatment. The efficacy was compared between the two groups after 3 weeks of follow-up.Results After 1 week of treatment, the scores of symptoms and signs in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 3 weeks of follow-up,the total efficiency was 94.6%in the observation group and 92.0%in the control group. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ^2=0.71,P=0.70).Conclusion Ultrasonic atomization combined with olopatadine eye drops was safe and effective in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis in children. The patients with poor efficacy, repeated attacks and poor medication compliance, are content with the treatment.
