摘要
从现实翻译工作的特点出发,基于元话语理论的分析视角,阐释了文案作品中视觉要素的表现形式和意义范畴。通过案例实证,分析了翻译文案的文体类型、作品性质、意义空间等方面的内涵,探讨了视觉元话语的特殊性,从复现原作文案的视觉模态、依照原作视觉语法进行意义表达、不过度使用视觉元话语进行意义阐发、以文案的原始创意为先导4个方面提出了视觉元话语的翻译原则与策略。
From translating characteristics in practical work,this article tends to elaborate from the perspective of expression forms and diversified meanings of visual elements in documents to be translated.Through empirical studies,it analyzes connotations of the style,the nature of the work,the meaning space and other aspects of a translation document.Based on four major issues,namely,representing visual models of source document,expressing meanings according to the visual grammar of source document,semantic explanation without overuse of visual meta-discourse,and respecting the source document′s creativeness,a further discussion is made on the translating principles and strategies.
