The data of a questionnaire survey on online classes in primary and secondary schools in Yunnan′s border minority areas during the epidemic period shows:Mobile phone is the main equipment of online class for county and township students; Most families of students who participate in online classes have broadband Internet access, and the Internet fees does not add extra economic burden to their families;Students have high interest in online learning and are generally satisfied with online classes. The results show that the government′s policy of"no suspension of classes"has been in place, and it is feasible to develop online education in border minority areas. We should fully realize the great significance of developing online education to promote education equity and human resources development in the border minority areas, accelerate the development of online education in primary and secondary schools in the border minority areas, and catch up with the new direction of education development in the era of new media.
