摘要
吴楚,字天士,主要于康熙年间行医,即1671年至1704年,其大致生卒年为1635—1708年,清代徽州歙县澄塘人,出生于澄塘吴氏医学世家,新安医家之一。其早年专心举业,但屡试不第,经友人劝说下兼理医业,治验颇丰,曾治愈翰林编修汪士鈜、翰林司业吴涵长子、翰林学士胡作梅等名士疾病,名动京师。曾参与高祖吴正伦遗著《脉症治方》的刊刻校订工作,编撰有四部医著,其中《宝命真诠》4卷、《前贤医案》1卷、《医验录》初集2卷、《医验录》二集卷一、卷二均已刊刻,存留至今,《医验录》二集卷三、卷四皆亡佚。
WU Chu,whose style name is Tianshi,was mainly practicing medicine in Kangxi period,that is,from 1671 to 1704.His birth and death year was between 1635-1708.He was born in Chengtang,Shexian County,Huizhou.And he was one of Xin’an doctors who came from Chengtang WU’s medical family.In his early years,he devoted himself to the imperial examination,but failed many times.He was persuaded by his friends to take another job invdoving the medical profession and accumulated a lot of experiences.He cured some famous scholars such as WANG Shihong,WU Han eldest son,HU Zuomei and so on.He had participated in editing and revising Mai Zheng Zhi Fang which was a legacy of his great-great-grandfather WU Zhenglun.He had compiled four medical works,including Bao Ming Zhen Quan(4 volumes),Qian Xian Medical Records(1 volume),the first part of Yi Yan Lu(2 volumes)and volumes one and two of the second part of Yi Yan Lu which have been printed,and have been preserved until today.Volumes three and four of the second part of Yi Yan Lu have been lost.
