Objective To discuss the clinical effect of different doses of rosuvastatin on elderly patients with stable coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 120 elderly patients with stable coronary heart disease were divided into high-dose group and low-dose group according to random numerical table, with 60 cases in each group. The low-dose group was given 5 mg/d rosuvastatin, and the high-dose group was given 20 mg/d rosuvastatin. The clinical efficacy,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels before and after treatment and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate 93.33%of high-dose group was higher than 70.00%of low-dose group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(2.05±0.26)μmol/L of high-dose group was obviously lower than(2.98±0.37)μmol/L of low-dose group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions 10.00%of high-dose group was lower than 31.67%of low-dose group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion High-dose rosuvastatin treatment has a significant clinical effect for elderly patients with stable coronary heart disease, which can reduce the level of low-density lipoprotein and the incidence of adverse reactions in patients.
