摘要
针对上海古镇空间的过往和现状,从明清时期市镇空间与自身文化内因的互动关系入手,分别探讨了上海水乡市镇聚居文化、市镇空间特征以及影响市镇营建的地域性风土文化根基。研究揭示了上海在开埠前饱受江南吴文化“溢出”的影响,市镇体现了吴文化基因中以“水”为核心的聚居文化与空间营造智慧;开埠后,上海作为不同文化交融汇通之地,市镇空间呈现出“礼俗并存”、“中西合璧”的特点,体现了地域特有的非正统性、商业性和兼容性的聚落文化特征。从比较的视角看,上海地区市镇之所以能在诸多江南水乡市镇中独树一帜,就在于其擅长在多种文化复合选择与创新中延续文脉并保持活力。
In view of the past and current situation of Shanghai's ancient town space,starting from the interactive relationship between the town space a nd its own cultural i nternal factors during the Ming a nd Qing Dynasties,we discuss the settlement culture,the characteristics of the town space,and the regionalism that influence the construction of towns and cultural foundation in Shanghai.The research revealed that Shanghai was affected by the"overflow"of Jiangnan Wu-culture before the opening of the port.The towns embodied the wisdom of settlement culture and space creation with"water"as the core of Wu-culture.After the opening of the port,Shanghai became a blend of different cultures in the place of confluence,the town space presents the characteristics of"coexistence of etiquette and custom"and"combination of Chinese and Western",which embodies the unique regional cultural characteristics of unorthodox,commercial and compatible settlements.From a comparative perspective,the reason why the cities and towns in Shanghai are unique among many Jiangnan water towns is that they are good at continuing the cultural context and maintaining vitality in the multiple cultural selection and innovation.
