Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of small incision non-phacoemulsification treatment for hard nuclear cataract. Methods From January 2015 to October 2019,73 patients with hard nuclear cataract in the hospital were selected as subjects. They were divided into 2 groups according to the random number table.36 patients in the control group received small incision phacoemulsification cataract surgery, and the observation group of 37 cases underwent small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract surgery, and the effects of the two groups were compared. Results The incidence of corneal edema in the observation group at 1 week after surgery was 13.51%,which was lower than 33.33%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.012,P<0.05);the corneal astigmatism of the observation group at 1 month and 3 months after surgery were respectively(1.21±0.23),(0.84±0.17),lower than the control group(1.59±0.27),(1.29±0.23),the difference was statistically significant(t=6.479,9.524,P<0.05);the postoperative complication rate in the observation group was 5.41%,lower than the control group 22.22%,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.365,P<0.05).Conclusion The small incision non-phacoemulsification treatment of hard nuclear cataract can more significantly improve the corneal edema and corneal astigmatism, and reduce complications.
