摘要
早在40年前就在细胞中发现N6-甲基腺苷(m6A)。但是,m6A修饰的功能和相关调控蛋白近几年才陆续揭晓。m6A是真核生物mRNA中最丰富的化学修饰之一,最近研究发现m6A在各种正常生物过程中发挥重要作用。现结合近年来的研究报道论述m6A在干细胞分化、肿瘤产生和病毒感染方面的生物学功能,为表观转录组学的相关研究提供参考。
N6-methyladenosine(m^6 A) was found in cells as early as 40 years ago.However,the functions of m^6A modification and regulatory enzymes have been revealed in recent years.m^6A is one of the most abundant chemical modifications in eukaryotic mRNA.Recent studies have found that m^6A plays an important role in various normal biological processes.In this review,we mainly introduce the biological functions of m^6A in stem cell differentiation,tumorigenesis and viral infection,which provides reference for epitranscriptomic research.
