Objective To study the effect of nasal continuous positive airway pressure on the rate of tracheal intubation and complications in the treatment of neonatal asphyxia. Methods 66 asphyxiated newborns from August 2018 to August 2019 were included in the study.According to the random number table, they were divided into two groups.33 cases in the control group were given oxygen by conventional head mask, and 33 cases in the observation group were given continuous positive airway pressure ventilation through nose. The blood gas analysis index, treatment related index, treatment effect, endotracheal intubation rate and complication rate of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of PaO2 and Apgar in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group, ventilation time, onset time and recovery time were shorter than those in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total clinical efficiency of the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of neonatal asphyxia with nasal continuous positive airway pressure can improve the blood gas index, improve the rescue effect, and reduce the rate of tracheal intubation and complications.
