摘要
近年来石油化工类复合术语层出不穷,印证着石油炼化技术的不断发展与进步。与以往单纯的“加氢精制”“加氢裂化”工艺相较,近年来陆续出现了一些针对性很强的加氢工艺新技术。与此同时,存在着越来越多的对“加氢”为向心词形态复合术语“hydro*”等术语的混淆滥用。借助当今世界上最大的英语平衡语料库——COCA美国当代英语语料库,以石化行业“加氢”术语的称名为例,探究合理的术语模式,使复杂的“加氢”工艺术语的形式更多地体现出理据性,更准确地反映术语所表概念的特征及其与相关概念之间的联系,使术语形式对所表概念具有解释力。术语工作者对越来越复杂的“加氢”工艺术语的命名要体现理据性,使其结构和语义具有优化、合理的对应关系,从而使相应术语概念更易于理解和把握。
In recent years,petrochemical compound terms have emerged one after another,which confirms the continuous development of petroleum refining technology.Compared with the previous simple"hydrogenation"and"hydro-cracking"process,some highly targeted new hydro technologies have emerged in recent years.Based on COCA,the largest balanced English corpus in the world,this paper takes the term"hydro*"in the petrochemical industry as an example,and discusses the formulation of the most reasonable terminology model to make the compound term"hydro*"reflect the motivation and the characteristics of the concept expressed by the term and its connection with the relevant concepts,so that the form of the term can be strongly explanatory to its concept.This paper also aims to catch the attention of terminologists to notice that the nomenclature of increasingly complex"hydro*"terms should embody the motivation so that the forms and semantics can have an optimized and reasonable correspondence,and thus the corresponding concepts are easier to be understood and grasped.
