摘要
从加布里尔·佐伦的空间叙事理论探寻女孩埃维莉娜所处的空间结构,在地质空间上,厄德里克对普鲁托小镇和北达科他州大学进行了正面和侧面的描绘,揭示了埃维莉娜对生存空间的探寻。在时空空间中,作者讲述了埃维莉娜在不同的时间和地点经历了不同的事件,反映了埃维莉娜从懵懂无知到成熟稳重的成长过程。在文本空间层面,厄德里克以其独特的视角和富有诗意的语言使得埃维莉娜的生存空间更加立体。这三个层面环环相扣,成功塑造了一个被边缘化的努力探寻生存空间的印第安混血女孩形象。
This paper,guided by Gabriel Zoran's spacial narrative theory,mainly analyzes Evelina's living structure.In aspect of the concrete physical space,Erdrich describes the town of Pluto and the University of North Dakota frontally and laterally,revealing Evelina's exploration of living space.In aspect of chronotopic space,the author tells about Evelina's experience of different events at different times and places,thus expressing her growing process from ignorance to maturity.In aspect of the space for text expression,with her unique perspective and poetic language,Erdrich makes Evelina's living space more three-dimensional.These three levels are interlinked,successfully portraying the image of an Indian mixed-blood girl who is marginalized and strives to find a living space.
