战略导向对企业绩效的作用机制研究:商业模式创新视角 被引量:36

Research on the Mechanism of Strategic Orientation on Firm Performance: A Perspective of Business Model Innovation

摘要 对于战略导向的合理抉择,为企业应对市场竞争及动荡变化的行业环境、获取现有资源并突破当前资源的约束困境提供了可能,能否通过积极调整战略导向增强核心竞争力,并将优势真正转化为企业绩效,取决于其通过持续创新活动对资源进行的获取程度。基于商业模式创新视角,探究企业如何通过战略导向选择强化对客户价值需求的了解和把握以实现价值获取和绩效提升,对战略导向、商业模式创新、企业绩效间内在关系进行的实证研究结果表明:市场导向正向影响效率型商业模式创新水平,而对新颖型商业模式创新的影响作用并不显著;技术导向和创业导向均能对效率型和新颖型商业模式创新产生积极影响,但相比而言对新颖型商业模式创新的影响作用更大。此外,市场导向、技术导向、创业导向对企业绩效的影响能够通过效率型和新颖型商业模式创新的中介作用实现。结论启示企业管理者需结合自身优势进行战略导向的选择、培育和发展,同时应关注商业模式创新过程与不同战略选择的匹配,以利用商业模式创新的价值创造逻辑在最大程度上提升竞争优势。 With the advent of the digital economy, Chinese enterprises are facing major strategic opportunities for business practice. At the same time, in-depth digitalization has greatly unlocked the potential for innovation.Business model innovation has become a key path for enterprises to gain competitive advantage. However, the innovative situation in the digital age poses new challenges to the enterprises’ strategic change decision-making.How do enterprises sharply capture and quickly adapt to the dynamic changes of the environment, and further use business model innovation to achieve the strategic goal of achieving excellent performance, which is not only an important issue of concern to the theoretical scholars, but also a "secret" that enterprises’ management decision-making practices are constantly exploring.Based on the perspective of business model innovation, this study introduces efficiency-centered and novelty-centered business model innovation as mediator, and a theoretical framework of "strategic orientation-business model innovation-firm performance" was established to explore the realization path of the strategic orientation’s effect mechanism on firm performance. It uses 269 data from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and other high-level enterprise managers in North China as samples, besides that SPSS 22.0 is used for empirical analysis of the data.The research results show that market orientation, technology orientation, and entrepreneurial orientation all have a positive impact on the improvement of firm performance. Market orientation positively affects the level of efficiency-centered business model innovation, while the impact on novelty-centered business model innovation is not significant;both technology orientation and entrepreneurial orientation can have a positive impact on efficiency-centered and novelty-centered business model innovation, but the influence of novelty-centered business model innovation is even greater compared. In addition, the impact of market orientation, technology orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on firm performance can be achieved through the mediating role of efficiency-centered and novelty-centered business model innovation.The research results contribute to the analysis of the internal mechanism, of which strategic orientation can achieve value acquisition matching with business model innovation. It could further improve and enhance the explanatory power of strategic orientation on firm performance, and deepen the research on the mechanism of strategic orientation on firm performance. So that it can guide and inspire the innovative exploration of Chinese enterprises. Enterprise managers need to combine their own advantages to carry out the choice, cultivation and development of strategic orientation. At the same time, they should pay attention to the matching of business model innovation process and different strategic choices, in order to use the value creation logic of business model innovation to maximize competitive advantage.
