摘要
《议兵篇》集中展现了荀子的军事思想。他强调战争的正义性质,强调仁义为本和战争从属政治,具有一定的积极意义。其在战略战术上也有一些闪光的思考,但他不理解政治与战争的关系是辩证的,两者紧密联系又各自独立,各自具有不同的内涵。正义是决定战争胜利的重要和必要条件,但不是唯一条件,仅仅靠正义并不一定能够取胜。荀子对战略战术的探索也多有缺失,特别是拒绝在战争中运用“诡道”更是迂腐之论。他的军事思想基本上是停留在书斋里的坐而论道,因而有时展露出不谙勝理的书呆子气息。所以,荀子虽是一个顶尖的思想家,却只能算末流的军事家。
The Chapter of Reviewing Military Army focuses on Xun Zi's military thought.He emphasizes the just nature of war and emphasizes humanity and righteousness and war-subordinate politics,which has certain positive significance.He also has some shining thoughts on strategy and tactics,but he does not understand that the relationship between politics and war is dialectical.The two are closely related and independent,and each has different connotations.Justice is an important and necessary condition for deciding the victory of war,butitis not the only condition,and justice alone does not necessarily lead to victory.Xun Zi's exploration of strategy and tactics is also lacking,especially his refusal to use"deception"in war is a pedantic theory.His military thinking basically stays in the study and talks about Taoism,so he sometimes shows the nerd breath of incomprehension.Therefore,although Xun Zi is a top thinker,he can only be regarded as an inferior military strategist.
