摘要
选用苯乙烯为聚合反应单体,氢氧化镁为分散剂,进行悬浮聚合反应。与目前高分子实验教材普遍选用的以聚乙烯醇(PVA)为分散剂的悬浮聚合反应相比,采用氢氧化镁为分散剂,操作简单,聚合时间短,体系稳定性高,成功率可达100%;全程溶液呈半透明,体系内聚合物珠粒清晰可见,从产物外观上激发了学生的学习兴趣,极大地调动了学生做实验的积极性,并对悬浮聚合实验有了更进一步的理解,且可代替原有的悬浮聚合反应实验,作为大学高分子化学实验的教学课程内容。
Styrene was selected as the polymerization monomer,Mg(OH)2 is a dispersant for suspension polymerization.Compared with the suspension polymerization of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as dispersant in polymer experiment materials.The improved method has much more advantages,such as simple operation,the reaction time is less,the stability of the system is high,the experiment succeeds in 100%;the solution is translucent throughout,polymer beads in the system are clearly visible.Students show their very interest in this experiment.And it has a better understanding of the suspension polymerization experiment.The good effect indicates that the improved experimental design can be used as the content of“polymer chemistry experiment for undergraduate students”.
