Objective To explore the effects of midwife-led companionship delivery on the psychological stress response and delivery outcomes of primipara. Methods A total of 160 primiparas admitted from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by the random number method, with 80 cases in each group. The control group was given routine midwifery nursing intervention, and the observation group was given midwifery-led companion delivery intervention. The psychological stress response, delivery outcome and satisfaction of the two groups of primiparas were compared. Results After delivery,HAMA and HAMD scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidences of cesarean section, perineal laceration, episiotomy, postpartum hemorrhage, fetal distress and neonatal asphyxia in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the satisfaction of the observation group was 97.50%,which was higher than 86.25%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical implementation of midwife-led companionship delivery for primiparas can effectively reduce psychological stress response, improve the delivery outcome and the nursing satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion.
