摘要
为探究稀土氧化物中氧化钇(Yttrium oxide,Y2O3)、氧化铈(Cerium oxide,CeO2)、氧化钆(Gadolinium oxide,Gd2O3)对室温硫化硅橡胶耐辐照性能的影响,采用钴-60辐照装置、邵氏硬度计、微机控制电子万能试验机对硅橡胶性能进行试验和测试,探讨了室温硫化硅橡胶的耐辐照、硬度、拉伸强度、撕裂强度、撕裂伸长率和断裂力等性能的变化.结果表明稀土氧化物能增强室温硫化硅橡胶的力学性能,含稀土氧化物室温硫化硅橡胶较不含耐辐照添加剂室温硫化硅橡胶辐照前后的拉力强度、撕裂伸长率和断裂力降低变化程度更小,其中,添加CeO2的硅橡胶具有最优耐辐射性能.稀土氧化物作为耐辐照添加剂对于室温硫化硅橡胶的耐辐照性能具有显著增强和稳定作用.
A cobalt-60 irradiation device、a Shore hardness tester、and a microcomputer were used to investigate the effects of Yttrium oxide(Y2O3),Cerium oxide(CeO2)and Gadolinium oxide(Gd2O3)on the irradiation resistance of RRT silicone rubber.The controlled electronic universal test was used,and the properties of silicone rubber was characterized,The hardness,tensile strength,tear strength,tear elongation,and property of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber were discussed.The results showed that a small amount of rare earth oxides could enhance the mechanical properties of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber.The change of tensile strength,tear elongation and breaking force of RTV silicone rubber containing rare earth oxide before and after irradiation is less than that of RTV silicone rubber without irradiation additive.In addition,adding CeO2 silicone rubber had the best radiation resistance.Therefore,the rare earth oxide as a radiation resistant additive had a significant enhancement and stabilization effect on the radiation resistance of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber.
