Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of erythromycin combined with azithromycin in sequential treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia. Methods One hundred and ten children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in our hospital(admitted between January 2017 and December 2019)were included in the study, randomized by computer, and divided into:reference group(n=55),experimental group(n=55).On the basis of conventional treatment, erythromycin was applied to the reference group, and erythromycin combined with azithromycin was selected for the experimental group.Comparative analysis of treatment effects. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the reference group(P<0.05);the hospitalization time, the time of fever, the time of rale disappearance, the time of cough disappearance in the experimental group were shorter than that of the reference group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum C-reactive protein(CRP)and serum amyloid A(SAA)in the two groups were decreased, and the experimental group was lower than the reference group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower than that of the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of erythromycin combined with azithromycin in the treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia has a significant clinical effect.
