Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Metoprolol combined with Salvia Miltiorrhiza Polyphenolic Acid on angina pectoris in elderly patients with coronary heart disease.Method:A total of 100 elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris admitted to the hospital of the author from February 2018 to February 2020 were selected and divided into the control group(50 cases, treated with Metoprolol Tartrate Tablet)and the observation group(50 cases, treated with Metoprolol Tartrate+Salvia Miltiorrhiza Polyphenolic Acid)by random draw. The total effective rate, incidence of adverse reactions and quality of life before and after treatment of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate in observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in quality of life scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the quality of life score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Metoprolol+Salvia Miltiorrhiza Polyphenolic Acid for elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris has a significant effect and can effectively improve the quality of life, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
